Is anyone actually enjoying this game?

I have had every version of FIFA/FC since 2001, and I have enjoyed playing all of them, but this game is not enjoyable, it is a grind. Every aspect of the game has been made infinitely more difficult, and less enjoyable.

Passing is horrific and inconsistent, player runs don't help this, but even if you spot a player making a run and go to pass, the game will not select that player most of the time and you'll instead pass to a stationary player stood still with 2 cbs.

Defending is impossible, I shouldn't have to control 2 players at once to have a chance at stopping attacks. Tackles are regularly made with the players wrong foot leading to a missed opportunity to win the ball. This coupled with technical dribbling being OP is grim. 

Corners. I thought corners last year were crap, but they've been made worse.

Career mode has been made into a grind with transfers no longer being possible and the same game play issues. 

Clubs has been made so much more complicated than it needs to be with free world nonsense. A game mode purely for jumping on and chilling with your mates now takes an age to get everyone involved.

In all, the game play is poor, the menus are poor and the whole experience lacks any fun, which is what games are supposed to be. Disgusting that EA have charged money for this game. It'll be my last purchase.

    Your defence just disappear so cpuai can score every goal exactly the same this aint football its a complete joke the whole thing stinks

    A huge problem with the defense is that you’re constantly left in 1-on-1 situations. Everyone else on your defensive line just stands there and watches to see if the opponent can beat the defender or not. The defensive AI is just plain stupid! I’ve seen an opponent launch a 1-on-1 attack right off a corner kick. I even had a second player there for cover, but as soon as the opponent got past me and headed toward the goal, my other player just drifted back to his own position as a fullback. The AI ​​doesn’t provide cover—not like in a real game; this feels more like *The Sims*. My fullback should have shifted toward the center to help out, but instead, he moved back to his own designated zone. EA clearly doesn’t understand what zonal defending is in football; they seem to think a player can only exist within a tiny, five-square-meter box, and that anything happening outside of that area is simply not their responsibility. They’ve introduced "manual defending" (whatever that’s even supposed to mean—I have no clue), but they fail to realize that it doesn’t work when you combine it with zonal tactics, abysmal player switching, and an idiotic defensive AI. I’m constantly seeing AI-controlled players run straight at me and collide with me.
