Is Competitive Assisted Shooting Allowed in FC Pro 27 Competitions?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some official clarification regarding the controller/gameplay settings that will be permitted during the EA SPORTS FC Pro 27 competitive season.

More specifically, I would like to know whether players are permitted to use Competitive Assisted Shooting when participating in official FC Pro competitions, including online ladders, qualifiers and other FC Pro tournaments.

I have reviewed the published EA SPORTS FC Pro 27 Official Rules, but I have not been able to find anything explicitly stating that Precision Shooting is mandatory, nor have I found a rule explicitly prohibiting Competitive Assisted Shooting.

I therefore contacted EA Help and specifically clarified with the support agent that my question related to the FC Pro esports scene, rather than normal Ultimate Team gameplay.

The EA Help agent responded:

“For your question yes the competitive assisted shooting for FC 27 is allowed.”

I have attached a screenshot of that conversation for reference.

However, because I intend to prepare specifically for official FC Pro competition, I would really appreciate confirmation from EA or someone involved with FC Pro regarding the following:

Is Competitive Assisted Shooting permitted in official FC Pro 27 competitions?

Is Precision Shooting mandatory at any stage of FC Pro competition?

Can players choose between Competitive Assisted Shooting and Precision Shooting?

Will the FC Pro Live Event/competitive mode automatically restrict or lock the shooting setting?

Could individual Event Rules override the general FC Pro 27 Official Rules and require a particular shooting setting?

The main reason I’m asking is that I want to practice using the same shooting configuration that I would be permitted to use competitively, rather than spending significant time training with one setting and later discovering that another is mandatory.

If an EA Community Manager, FC Pro representative, tournament administrator, professional player, coach, or anyone else within the competitive FC community has reliable information about this, I would really appreciate your guidance and clarification.

Ideally, it would be great to receive an official answer from EA SPORTS FC / FC Pro so that aspiring competitors have a definitive reference going into the FC Pro 27 season.

Thank you!
