Permanent EA Account Ban Without Explanation – 10 Appeals Rejected

Hello EA Community Managers,

I'm posting here because I've exhausted every available support option and genuinely don't know where else to turn.

I purchased EA SPORTS FC 27 through Steam, created a brand-new EA account, and started playing normally. I never purchased coins, used cheats, or knowingly violated any EA rules.

One day, after playing normally the previous evening, I woke up to discover my entire EA account had been permanently banned.

EA provided absolutely no specific explanation beyond a generic Terms of Service violation.

Here's everything I've tried:

  • My first appeal was rejected almost instantly.
  • My second appeal remained under review for eight days, only to receive another generic rejection with no explanation.
  • I submitted approximately eight additional appeals, all rejected almost immediately.
  • I contacted EA live support multiple times. Every conversation resulted in scripted responses, and some agents ended the chat without addressing my concerns.
  • I can no longer access live support. Every issue I select displays: "This issue isn't supported by advisors."
  • I cannot unlink my Steam account because my EA account is banned.
  • I have now submitted a personal data access request to EA's Data Protection Officer.

I'm not asking a Community Manager to personally overturn my ban. I understand that enforcement decisions are handled by a separate team.

What I'm asking is whether someone at EA can help identify a legitimate escalation path for a player who has exhausted the appeal process without ever receiving a specific explanation.

I'm also requesting help understanding why I can no longer contact live support, regardless of the issue I select.

I paid for FC 27 legitimately through Steam, invested time into the game, and have effectively lost access to my purchase without understanding what I allegedly did wrong.

I'm happy to provide my appeal case numbers, screenshots, and any relevant details through an appropriate private channel.

I would genuinely appreciate an EA Community Manager taking a look at this situation and advising me on what options remain.

Thank you.

  • Sorry to say d8ejtjlgx768 but if you have exhausted the appeal process, then there would be nothing that anyone at EA can do to change this.

All appeals are independently reviewed by a human member of the team and if a ban is kept in place then it means the review found evidence to support it.

Hey d8ejtjlgx768 the team uses templates for legal reasons and to ensure uniformity across all appeals.

If you have had multiple appeals rejected, then this would be the end of it and the team will not continue to review further appeals.

All info around a ban will have been communicated in the initial email.

There is no one within EA who can change this.

Darko, with all due respect, I find it extremely difficult to believe that every single one of my appeals received a genuine, independent human review.

I've attached a screenshot showing eight rejection emails from EA, all containing the exact same generic response.

My first appeal was rejected almost instantly. My second took eight days, only for me to receive the same generic email. Every appeal afterward was rejected almost immediately, again with the exact same response.

You're telling me that each appeal was independently reviewed by a human and that the ban being upheld means EA found evidence of wrongdoing.

But what exactly is that evidence? What rule did I break? What specific activity resulted in my entire EA account being permanently banned?

Not once, across approximately 10 appeals, has EA identified a single specific violation. All I've been told is that I violated the Terms of Service.

I understand that EA may use standardized email templates, but receiving eight identical responses, without a single case-specific explanation, gives me absolutely no reason to believe my individual circumstances were meaningfully considered.

And to make matters worse, when I contacted live support to ask what options remained, I was repeatedly given scripted responses and eventually had my chat ended without my questions being answered.

I'm not asking you to repeat EA's general policy. I'm asking whether you have actually verified that MY appeals were independently reviewed, or whether you're simply assuming they were because that's what EA's policy says.

There is a difference between stating that a review took place and demonstrating that a decision was justified.

I'm a paying customer who purchased FC 27 through Steam, created a new EA account, and lost access to the entire account without ever being told what I allegedly did wrong.

If EA considers this decision final, then at the very least I deserve a specific explanation rather than eight identical emails and another generic forum response.
