received code but doesnt show up in library

I received my EA SPORTS FC 27 Closed Beta invite and redeemed my Steam code successfully. When I go to my Steam Account Details > "View licenses and product key activations," the license shows up as:

"4 Aug, 2026 — EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Closed Beta — Retail"

However, the game does not appear anywhere in my Steam Library. I have tried the following:

• Restarting Steam
• Signing out and signing back in
• Reinstalling Steam (kept steamapps and userdata folders)
• Checking library filters (unchecked "Ready to Play" filter, checked Tools)
• Checking View > Hidden Games
• Searching for "FC 27", "Closed Beta", and "Playtest" in the library search bar
• Checking the EA App

The game tile still does not show up in either Steam or the EA App.

My Steam account is linked to my EA account, and I am using the same email address that received the beta invite.

Is pre-loading not available yet before the August 5 start date? Or is there something else I need to do to get the download to appear?
