SUPPORT Fc 27 beta code issue

So ive heard that codes roll out later throughout the whole beta like in cohorts or whatever so my question is is this true? Like ive got the beta code for last year without signing up for playtester but this year I had to sign up for playtester and still nothing so can anyone tell me more about this?
