Terrible

Bought this game as the updates looked promising but how wrong was I.

Genuinely, all around the worst edition yet, by far and that is saying something.

Manager career mode completely unplayable, CM gameplay is really bad, the transfer system is dreadful eg Barcelona had 8 goalkeepers at one point. The whole mode is unplayable.

Player career mode is pointless, targets system is ridiculous, zero immersion as you can’t just transfer mid season and no life to it.

Ultimate Team is an absolute joke, i have countless screenshots of games where I’ll be 2/3-0 up at halftime then lo and behold my team forget what a football is. Literally like that scene in space jam where the players can’t catch the ball. My goalkeeper literally never saves a shot, defenders miss tackles, balls ricochet off my players and land at the attackers feet. My players just move so much slower than opposition Vini jr literally getting caught from behind by 80 rated gold cards, they take extra touches, don’t make runs or stop half way through a run. Every game is hard work regardless who I’m playing against or how much I’m up by.

I put a seperate thread up about buttons not working/registering eg when I play pro clubs if I press to press the ball nothing happens when I press for through ball I have to press a couple of times and when I get the ball same thing it’s slow/clunky takes terrible touch and turns slow.

Ive had similar problems in previous years with the online gameplay and never get a response or get told to check my internet. My internet is very fast, I’ve tested my controller and that’s good, internet and everything works perfect on every game it’s just this. This year has been the final nail for me and won’t be buying ea games again.
