After playing some days more…

After several attempts to give it a chance, playing FC27 has become a frustrating experience that I no longer want to repeat. The gameplay is full of problems that ruin any enjoyment: manual passes without intelligent optimization are a nightmare, manual defense doesn’t respond as it should, and AI-controlled players seem like mere spectators. Trying to switch players in time is a constant pain, and it almost always happens too late, making control exclusive to those with infinite patience and not to those who enjoy real football.

The plays feel heavy, passes and shots seem random, and the scores end up with unrealistic results like 6-5 or 7-6, something far from the football experience one expects. The worst part is that the game seems to forget that, beyond the modes and the cards, the most important thing is to offer a good match.

After so much frustration, I’ve decided I will not buy FC27 again. I’d rather move to eFootball which, with all its flaws, at least offers sensations closer to the sport I love.
