Suggestion to improve the WSL experience
Playing Career Mode in the WSL is already quite fun, especially given the challenge of working with a limited budget and discovering talented players who aren't yet household names. However, it would be great to expand this experience and make it even more engaging.
Playing only the WSL and occasionally the UWCL can become repetitive over time. I have a few suggestions.
Currently, the WSL has 14 teams. If we exclude the clubs competing in the UWCL, that leaves 11 teams. These 11 clubs could compete in a League Cup. Each club would play 6 matches, with the top 8 teams advancing to the knockout stage. This knockout phase would consist of quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final. It could be called the League Cup, the English League Cup, or whatever you prefer.
In the second half of the season, teams that finished between 3rd and 14th place in the previous season would play a 6-match playoff phase. The six winners of this phase would join the top two teams from the previous season. These eight teams would then compete in quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final. This competition could be called the FA Cup, the English Cup, or any other name.
This would make the Women's Career Mode experience much more complete and engaging.
There is no need to use official names, logos, or trophies. We just need the competitions and the actual matches to play. The most important thing is having a more varied and realistic match schedule, with additional domestic competitions throughout the season.
Thank you for your time🙋♂️
