I closed the game while creating the character after the match with the Mbappe 2v2 tutorial.
And i can't enter the ground again. The message shows "Failed to create character, back to menu".

I've read about multiple people having this issue. Along with me, a lot of people are experiencing this after exiting the create an avatar screen after the mbappé 2v2. If we try loading "the grounds" we'll get hit with a screen saying "Failed to create Avatar, Returning to main menu". Im hoping there's a fix for this coming soon.
Ps. I've tried uninstalling the game data, the game itself, I've created a player in the settings, everything i can to try getting back into the grounds.
No troubleshooting fixes this I've tried everything possible that the agents told me to do including a complete reinstall of the game the avatars in the process of being created need to be wiped from our accounts but apparently nobody has the capability to do that is what I was told by the EA agents 😂

I get the exact same thing you do. Its okay though because you know what they said to me they basically told me they would use me as a Guinee pig instead of fixing the issue for me so they wont fix it if you try talking to them they tell you they will wait to see if more people get it and then release a fix in a few weeks/months
I’ve been looking up methods to fix this problem I reset my internet over 20 times re downloaded the game twice and I still cannot create a new avatar ea managers and creators please go into my ea fc account and fix my issue I really want to play this game mode.

plz help me currently can’t access the Grounds at all when I was creating my avatar my game crashed now everytime I go into the grounds it says failed to create avatar, returning to main menu. I’ve tired everything to fix the problem but nothing works I’m on ps5
I’m on XBOX series X and I have this same message.My game crashed while building my character. I can no longer access the grounds and it prompts me back to the main menu.

Why is clubs in the grounds anyways?
So i tried to fix the problem for a friend.
I don´t play Fifa myself but same issue here (PC/Steam). Wanted to share a data point that might help narrow this down for the dev team, since it seems to confirm what EA_Shepard is likely already investigating:
I reinstalled EA FC 27 completely fresh on a second, entirely different PC, logged in with the same EA account, and got the exact same "Failed to create Avatar, returning to main menu" error on the very first attempt — no prior corrupted local install involved at all.
This strongly suggests the issue isn't client-side (cache, files, drivers, etc.) but tied to an incomplete/corrupted avatar record on the account itself, likely from an interrupted first creation attempt (mine happened right after a restart mid-creation). A few people above mentioned support agents saying the stuck record "needs to be wiped" but that nobody currently has the tool to do it — if that's accurate, this really sounds like it needs a backend fix/reset tool rather than anything we can troubleshoot on our end.
Hoping for an update soon, this is blocking Clubs entirely for a lot of us.

Could you please let us know what is happening? Why is taking so long to fix this?
I dont want to be rude to you, as i know you have no fault on this, but as a consumer i would very much like to know what is happening and why am i not being able to play the game i bought for $99.99 to play EARLY and still can't play even after the people that did not payed as much as I did.
I know a fix might take time, but at least give us something to look at, an ETA, why is this glitch happening or wathever...
I'm an 18-year FIFA/FC player who plays Clubs almost every year, this is the first time I've logged in here to say I have the same problem, so please patch it because I can't play Clubs with my friends.
2 weeks later and still no solution.
