DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

Hi, can someone please help me? I get this error in every match I play. All my drivers are up to date, and I haven't been able to complete a single match because of it.

    Hey 9_Pardus_8​  the error you are seeing is generally related to your GPU, the best thing to do is a clean install of your GPU drivers. 

    It's annoying and I know you just want to play, but if you still see issues, then can you ensure that you:

    • Have installed driver 417.35
    • Turn on vsync
    • Perform a clean bootbefore attemting to play the game
    • Ensure you have power supply capable of meeting the demands of your hardware while it is under heavy gaming load
    • Set all in game graphics settings to low in order to reduce the stress on your GPU.
    • Set the high performance preset in your GPU control panel, as opposed to the high quality preset.
    • Run your video card at stock speeds (memory and core). This is also important for players with factory overclocked cards. This will require some third party software such as EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner etc.

    What are you basing that on you **bleep**. 

    it is quite literally a engine bug. Yes I have tried all of these and much more… what now then

    Hey Shifffty123​, the error here is hardware or software related and not game. 

    As such, this is something that you will need to troubleshoot. The steps I shared above fix the issue for most people. 

    Have you tried them?

    Refund process is dependent on where you purchased the game.

    you guys are legit so useless. 

    this is a well documented issue -look on ea forums reddits etc been well known for years. Its an issue with your game engine. 

    I have spent days trying every possible tweak and fix and nothing will allow me to play the game. How do I get my money back

    so.......i think i might of found a fix to the issue been playing for the last 2 hours, no issues at all,underclock your graphics card using MSI afterburner (underclock it alot!) try it see how you do!

    Same issue here

    Tried everything but im sitting on a Arc b580 graphics card.

    Getting tired of game crashing in ultimate team and not being able to play even when paying for early access...

    EA_Darko​ I did have the exact same problem also with AMD, how do we do ?

    Things I have try :
    -DDU install of the drivers
    -Reinstalling the game
    -Trying on and off for V-Sync
    -Everything put on low in the game for having it less demanding as possible

    And every other things recommended for that and still crashing everytime randomly but mainly on the main menu

    AMD Ryzen 7800x 3D
    AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
    ASUS Prime B650 M+

    getting the same error.....only happens when i play ultimate team and when in game, it is fine when i am in the grounds but i have tried everything i have updated windows, reinstalled drivers (AMD) (using drivers only) i have backdated drivers,this is the only game i have issues with this error i have ran out of ideas what to do with this 

    specs 
    Intel i9 9900k 
    AMD 7800XT 
    32 GB 3200 Mhz Cosair

    The error is related to your GPU 9_Pardus_8​ and other games working without issue means nothing.

    You can get hung up on the lack of the eg before the driver but it isn't some nefarious ploy to waylay you. It's simply there as an example.

    You need to do the steps I shared above and if the issue continues to troubleshoot your GPU.
