FC 26 → FC 27 points transfer: contradictory EA Help answers #257047686

Hi,

I accidentally redeemed a 1050 FC Points code for FC 26 instead of FC 27 (PC, EA ID: adrifontee). The points are unused in FC 26.

On 19/10, an EA Help advisor (Mhira) told me via live chat that I needed to have FC 26 active in order to transfer them to FC 27. Because of that, I subscribed to EA Play, activated FC 26 and created an Ultimate Team club. The 1050 FC Points show there, unused.

However, in FC 27 (PC, Steam, same EA account) the transfer option doesn't appear, probably because I had already entered Ultimate Team before having FC 26. When I contacted EA Help again, another advisor (case #257047686) told me they can't transfer FC Points between titles.

Could you please review my case or let me know if there is any way to get the transfer option to appear again in FC 27? I subscribed to EA Play following EA Help's own instructions.

    Sorry to see that you are having issues adrifontee​ 

    Have you been playing FC27 for a while, and have you at any point seen any pop-up about transferring points?

    Yes, I've been playing FC 27 since around launch (PC, Steam), and I have never seen any pop-up about transferring points.

    When I first entered Ultimate Team in FC 27, I had no FC 26 points at all, so there was nothing to transfer at that moment. I only redeemed the 1050 FC 26 points on 17 October (by mistake, instead of FC 27 points). After that, following EA Help's advice, I activated FC 26 through EA Play and created a UT club there. The 1050 points show in FC 26, unused, but the transfer pop-up never appears in FC 27.

    Is there any way to trigger the transfer again, or could it be done from your side?

    Sorry to say adrifontee​ but we are not able to trigger it from our side.

    Best thing to do is keep playing and see if it pops for you.
