FC 26/27 Ultimate Team Freezing Mid-Match — Repeated Disconnect Losses

This is becoming completely unacceptable.

This issue started for me on FC 26 and has continued into FC 27. During Ultimate Team matches, my players suddenly freeze and become completely unresponsive. I can still hear my opponent/friends in the party, but the match eventually disconnects and I’m given a LOSS.

It happens across Rivals, Friendlies, and other Ultimate Team modes. I’ve lost 6–8 games against one friend alone because of this.

I’ve already reset/restored my PS5, reinstalled the game multiple times, changed my LAN cable, changed the console’s position, and tried every basic troubleshooting step.

At this point, this does not feel like a PS5 hardware issue. The problem started with FC 26 and has carried over into FC 27 despite all the troubleshooting.

Please properly investigate this as an FC/EA connectivity or game-client issue. Getting losses for matches that literally freeze and disconnect is incredibly frustrating and is making Ultimate Team almost impossible to enjoy.
