FC 27: Ping increased from 6 to 24 ms in Tallinn, Estonia

Hello EA Community and EA Technical Team,

I am experiencing a persistent increase in latency when playing EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Team on PC.

I live in Tallinn, Estonia, and use STV internet with a wired Ethernet connection.

In July 2026, I could regularly find matches with approximately 6 ms ping. Since August, my ping has increased to 16–24 ms, and I can no longer find matches with my previous latency.

My EA Connection Quality Report shows an average ping of approximately 21 ms. On October 10, one match had 20.53 ms ping, 0.67% packet loss and a connection quality score of 63/100.

I have already contacted my ISP and EA Support (case #254769740). My ISP requested the actual game server IP address to investigate the route using WinMTR or traceroute. Unfortunately, EA Support could only provide general troubleshooting articles.

I also performed a WinMTR test to a test IP, but this was not the actual FC match server, so it could not establish the route used during gameplay.

Could EA staff or experienced community members help clarify:

  1. Which EA data center serves players in Tallinn, Estonia?
  2. Could server selection or network routing have changed since July or August 2026?
  3. Is there an official way to identify the actual FC 27 match server IP for network diagnostics?
  4. Are other players in Estonia, Finland or nearby countries experiencing a similar increase in ping?

I am not claiming that the issue is definitely on EA’s side. I would like to identify the actual cause and determine whether my previous latency of approximately 6 ms can be restored.

Thank you for your help.
