There isn't an option to select my user ID before starting A Kick Off match in the Select Sides Menu Screen. The tutorial shows how it's supposed to look but mine is only showing Player 1 and there isn't any way to select anything.

I thought I was alone. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the game on multiple occasions, while thinking it could have been a problem caused during download
in EA 26 has a same problem in beginning
yep it was the same in the begining of 26 it was fixed after few weeks
It's so frustrating. I wonder how long it will take them to fix this.
I've been trying to create the names it so freaking annoying because not everyone buys the game to play fut champs and they gone and took the one thing I looked forward to out the game. And it seems like they don't care to fix it.
I see it tagged as Connectivity, but this is a functional bug, option to Select Kick off name does not exist, in FC26 we could create any local name and it would write stats under it, but not anymore, how come this is under connectivity???
