Sluggish Gameplay, Delayed Player Reactions and Slow Animations

I’m experiencing a persistent gameplay issue in EA SPORTS FC 27 on PC (Steam), and I’m hoping someone from EA or another player can help me identify the cause.
The game feels unusually slow and unresponsive. Player movement feels heavy, and the players do not react to my inputs as quickly as they should. Passing, dribbling, sprinting, turning, changing direction, and accelerating all feel sluggish.
The most frustrating part is that the game runs at a stable 120 FPS, but the actual gameplay feels slow. The image itself looks smooth, without obvious stuttering or FPS drops. It feels as though the players are responding late to my controller inputs.
The issue occurs in BOTH online and offline modes. It is not limited to Ultimate Team or online matches. My ping in online matches is around 20 ms.

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
RAM: 32 GB
Platform: PC (Steam)
Monitor: 180 Hz
FPS: Stable 120 FPS
Controller: PlayStation 5 DualSense
What I have noticed
Sometimes the gameplay feels normal at the beginning of a match, but becomes noticeably slower as the match progresses.
I have noticed the slowdown occurring after a goal.
On one occasion, I played a match where the gameplay felt much faster and more responsive than usual. However, the next match felt slow again.
My players feel sluggish even when their in-game attributes are high. The gameplay does not feel as responsive as it does in gameplay videos.
What I have already tried
Reinstalling EA AntiCheat.
Connecting my DualSense controller via USB instead of Bluetooth.
Testing the game with both Bluetooth and a wired controller.
Checking my FPS and connection.
After reinstalling EA AntiCheat and switching to a wired controller, the gameplay seemed to improve temporarily, but the problem eventually returned. I cannot confirm which change caused the temporary improvement.
My questions
Is this a known issue with FC 27 on PC?
Could this be related to the game's animations, input responsiveness, frame pacing, or a bug that causes gameplay to become slower during a match?
Is there a specific setting or fix that has helped other PC players experiencing the same problem?
I have already tried several troubleshooting steps, but I still cannot find a permanent solution.
I would really appreciate any help from EA or other players who have experienced the same issue.
