Unjustified transfer market ban.

Hey, let me describe what happened to me yesterday.

I was buying up silver cards on the market and reselling them at high prices for a profit. I made over a million coins doing this. Yesterday at 8 PM, I got banned from the market for "coin transferring." I filed an appeal explaining my trading activity—specifically that it was done manually in-game; I didn't even have access to the market via the web app to run any bots.

Appeal rejected. I wrote another one and explained everything again. Rejected. I wrote a third appeal. Rejected. Fourth appeal. Rejected. Fifth appeal. Rejected. Each time, I describe the situation and ask them to verify the logs and manually review the transfers. I understand the system might have flagged it as a coin transfer, but that’s exactly what the Terms of Service review process is for—not just handing out bans left and right.

I bought 30 cards for 900, listed them for 5,000 or less, and they sold. Is that illegal? No, that’s trading. I received four identical emails without any specific details regarding what I was banned for, when it happened, or why.

I asked via chat for my log and transfer history. I’m waiting for that data, but they have 30 days to provide it. If they keep rejecting my appeals throughout the day tomorrow, I’m going to file a formal complaint with the consumer ombudsman and submit a claim to the arbitration tribunal in Switzerland.

By accepting the terms and conditions, we waive the right to pursue claims in court, but we do retain the option to seek redress through arbitration. Essentially, both EA and the player present their arguments, an arbitrator decides the merits of the case, and we can fight for compensation. It’s not really about the 90Euro cost of the game. If this situation drags on, even if I get unbanned after two months, that edition is effectively a write-off—after all, a FIFA title’s lifespan is only about eight months.

It’s really about the way they treat their customers. YouTubers who partner with EA promote coin sellers—and those sellers don't get banned—yet an ordinary player who put in the time to earn their coins legitimately (instead of buying them) gets hit with a ban.
