I’ve now experienced two mid-match crashes—one in the Code Neon event and one in the new UCL Road to the Finals event. These occurred within the space of 30 minutes after the app update with the UCL event and definitely wasn’t a result of my internet connection (which remained uninterrupted and has never been an issue in the past). Anyone else experiencing issues? [Note: I run the app on an iPad with the latest iOS update.]
Just happened again. Grrrr.
And again. Everything else about the app is working fine. But this is the third time in five tries that a match in the new event has crashed the app.
Happened yet again. Each time I’ve had a lead in the new UCL event in Legendary mode and have been playing keep away from the AI when the crash happened. Totally bizarre because the app functions fine otherwise (which leads me to believe that it’s not simply my device). Would love it if, for once, EA would actually respond when I go to the trouble of posting legitimate issues with their product.

Sadly, it still doesnt work. It works only when I play with commentary turned off. I hope the team finds a solution to fix this issue. It has been in the game for a while now. Thanks.

I cleared my cache after my last post and went crash free for less than 48 hrs until it happened again a few minutes ago. This time it was a weekly “Key Match” between PSV and Ajax and I was playing the former on world class difficulty. I had just played the same match to completion in a loss, but was winning this one when the app completely crashed in about the 83rd minute. The one consistent thing in all of my crashes has been that I was leading late in the match with the difficulty set to the highest level available. This is at least the fifth (or sixth?) time this has happened in the last 48 hrs (all since the last update) where I never encountered these problems before.

It happened yet again. As noted above, I had just cleared my cache and relaunched the PSV vs Ajax “Key Match” on world class difficulty. As before, the crash occurred after I took a 1-0 lead (as PSV). The only thing different this time is that it occurred much earlier in the match than any of the previous (six times). I estimate that it was around the 20th minute.
I was finally able to complete the above match that had crashed twice. However, I did notice my screen glitching (where the action frozen for a a second before jumping ahead to live action). Each time it happened I thought it was going to crash but then (fortunately) it didn’t. Suffice it to say, I’m happy to have been able to complete the match, but something definitely appears to be unstable about the app.
