"Back" slide of PASS button cuts off shortly midway

When you slide "pass" button backwards, the intended behavior is simply fast-ground pass. The amount of time you press is proportional to the power you will get, which can seen with the help of the power-bar. However, despite setting the "faster" power for passes/shots in the settings, only the "back" slide is not working and all the rest : up, down, forward, are working. It stopped working since yesterday. Help me EA!
