The EA staff on EA Forums can't make changes to your account or league, sorry.  

Have you tried reaching out to the new owner to ask if they can transfer the ownership back to you? This might have happened due to inactivity.

I can't promise it will be possible to transfer the ownership back. You can, however, try to check in with the Customer Support team directly from within the game using this guide.
