h2h issue

hello to the team at EA,

i recently entered a H2H match, but after 5 seconds, i clicked on cancel (like, the moment it appeared), and it seems that the matchmaking AI partnered me with somebody at that exact time, cuz when i tried to re-join a match, it said i was already in a match, even tho i wasn't.

can you explain how this happened, or fix it?
