It says use Heroes/Icon players and score 2 goals, but it doesn't count for me since i score goals using Gerrard 108, Hazard 104, and Nakata 93, why is that?
There was an update and its now fixed. Scoring 2 goals with Nakata is now enough to get all 3 challenges completed.

I've already reported this to devs, so hopefully this can be addressed soon.
Basically, my observations are:
- Nakata or other Japanese cards seem to be registering properly for the optional challenges (I used 93 Nakata and 108 Ueda).
- Any Hero or Icon released before Ballon d'Or / FootyVerse appears to not be counted as such, so the goals by them are meaningless.
Now, to complete the challenge, you need to score 4 goals: two with Nakata and two with a relatively new Icon/Hero card ideally from the last 3 events). OVR doesn't matter as I scored with gold-ranked Matuidi (112 base).
