Input cancels and adjustable buttons and sticks

After the recent update I've noticed input cancels happening, where I've loaded up a pass right before i recieve it, and the game decides it's not going to pass. This is a huge issue for me at least when i play against better opponents and need to be able to preemptively press pass so i don't take an unnecessary touch and get tackled. As well as me thinking that the pass is going through, just for it to be cancelled as i touch the ball, making the play obsolete in a lot of situations.

A side note and a nice edition to the game would be a simple customizable joystick and button layout where you get put into an editing mode and simply drag and pinch the buttons and joystick to place them wherever i so please on the screen
