Ovr and h2h friendly match

I was playing H2H with my friend, and instead of showing FC Champion, it showed League 2. My OVR also dropped by 1, from 126 to 125, even though I didn’t do anything. I also tried changing a player who was on the bench, but my OVR still didn’t go back to 126. Could it be because I don’t have the max badge?
