Script IS working no matter what you do!

Just a clear example: I played MM agains opponent 103 101 103 stats. Mine are 105 104 105. I started with shooting tendency set to 3. Some 30 minutes into the game I saw that I need to pass the ball into the net and I set shooting tendency to 1. That is when my players really started shooting! From 30 or 40 meters all the time! Instead of walking into the box I wasted a lot of opportunities! WHY?! Does it matter at all what we set as our tactics?!
