Tradable Players Not Being Able To Exchanged In Star Shards

I bought multiple copies of 113 Aleix Febas to exchange for Star Shards and spent around 1.6–1.8 billion coins. However, after registering the player in Badges, the duplicate tradable copies cannot be converted to untradable or used in the Star Shards exchange.

Is this a bug? The game does not provide any warning about this restriction, and it resulted in me spending a very large amount of coins. Please investigate and fix this issue.
