Unequal Matchmaking

I would like to understand the logic behind your matchmaking system in FC Mobile.

Why does the game so frequently match players like me (with an overall team rating of 117–118) against opponents whose Defense, Midfield, and Attack ratings are consistently 4–5 points higher? What is the reasoning behind this matchmaking system in 2026?

This doesn't make the game more competitive, it simply wastes players' time. After I lose three matches against significantly stronger opponents, the game finally gives me a weaker opponent, I win, and then I'm immediately matched against players who are once again 4–5 ratings higher than me in every area. The cycle just repeats.

This is not about my skill. Players with much higher-rated teams are noticeably faster, stronger, and have a clear gameplay advantage. Most of my opponents have teams rated 122, 123, or 124, with many orange ranked players at around Rank 30. Meanwhile, my squad mainly consists of players rated between 116 and 120 with much lower ranks.

I'm sure I'm not the only player experiencing this issue.

Creating a fair matchmaking classification and balancing the matchmaking ratios should not be this difficult, especially for a company like EA. Frankly, I expected much better. At this point, it feels like someone is simply not doing their job properly.
