Re: Malen Bug Ruined Game

Dear EA Sports FC Mobile Development and Community Teams,

 

I am writing this post on behalf of thousands of dedicated, passionate, and fair-play members of the FC Mobile community to urgently address the catastrophic impact of the recent Donyell Malen exchange bug. This oversight has caused an unprecedented crisis regarding game integrity, competitive fairness, and economic stability within the game.

 

### 1. The Massive Disparity and Disrespect for Player Time

For weeks, honest players who abide by the rules and respect the game's mechanics have been spending countless hours grinding, strategizing, and dedicating their personal time to legitimately earn approximately 70k shards. This required rigorous daily engagement, management of resources, and immense patience. 

 

Meanwhile, due to a severe system oversight, exploiters were able to abuse the Donyell Malen exchange glitch and accumulate over 100k shards in a mere 5 minutes. Rewarding accidental or intentional exploiters with game-breaking resources while punishing the dedication of honest players is completely unacceptable. It completely invalidates the hard work of the entire legitimate player base.

 

### 2. Complete Destruction of Competitive Balance and Economy

FC Mobile thrives on competitive integrity, especially in Division Rivals, Head-to-Head (H2H), and event leaderboards. By allowing a subset of the community to instantly acquire massive, unearned resource advantages, the game's competitive environment has been utterly broken. Honest players are now forced to face stacked, unfairly built squads in matches where skill no longer matters as much as the sheer overwhelming advantage gained through a bug. This drives loyal players away and destroys faith in the game's operational management.

 

### 3. Our Clear and Non-Negotiable Demands

The community will not accept silence or sweeping this issue under the rug. To restore even a shred of fairness and trust, EA must take immediate, decisive action. We strictly demand one of the following two solutions:

 

1. **A Complete Audit and Rollback:** Identify all accounts that abused the Donyell Malen bug and remove all illegitimately gained shards and assets from their inventories to restore balance to the game's economy.

2. **OR Equal Compensation for Fair Players:** If a rollback is technically unachievable, EA must provide a massive, equalizing compensation package to all honest players who played by the rules, bridging the gap so they are not left at a permanent competitive disadvantage.

 

We expect a swift, transparent response and corrective action from the development team to fix this disaster.
