I completed the task to do the weekend challenge and got the rewards from it, but it did not count for the task to do weekend challenge.

fifa19fann Known issue, already raised with the dev team and acknowledged on the FCM official Discord channel in the bugs section. You need to wait for the official comms and a potential fix.
