I thought the same. That EA somehow is controlling the game but it's all due to latency. Now I managed to have a decent signal/latency in just one part of the house. The one that I was expecting less and I saw how the game really looks. All the things you you wrote above are because you have a bad network connection. It acts like a delay allthow your game works fine and you will start missing passes, your opponent will intercept a lot of the balls wile you won't be able to intercept a single ball, you won't be able to dribble, goalkeepers will save your shots. You will have slower players etc. All this are not a thing in the game. You should be able to outrun players especially when you dribble the last defender and somehow another one catches you from behind. I don't understand how but somehow the game simulates the game for you and allthow everything looks fine the game runs different for your opponent. Players should not be statics and do runs not be static, I also have a delay when it come to shooting, while others get the ball and instantly shoot, I can't. Hope you understood what I tried to say.
