Adding player career mode
⚽ Feature Request: Add Player Career Mode to EA SPORTS FC Mobile
Dear EA SPORTS FC Mobile Team,
I would like to suggest adding a Player Career Mode to FC Mobile.
FC Mobile already has many great features, but I believe a proper Player Career Mode could give players a completely different way to enjoy the game. Instead of only building a team around existing players, we could create our own footballer and experience their journey from a young prospect to a world-class player.
🎮 How I imagine Player Career Mode
Players could:
- Create and customize their own footballer.
- Choose their nationality, position, height, preferred foot, shirt number, hairstyle and appearance.
- Start their career as a young player with a relatively low OVR.
- Choose or receive an opportunity to join a smaller club.
- Play matches and control only their created player.
- Improve their attributes through training and performances.
- Earn a starting position by performing well.
- Receive transfer offers from other clubs.
- Move between leagues and clubs during their career.
- Represent their national team.
- Compete in major competitions such as domestic leagues, cups and the UEFA Champions League.
- Win individual awards and eventually compete for the Ballon d’Or.
- Have career statistics such as appearances, goals, assists, trophies and awards.
📈 Make progression meaningful
One of the most important parts should be progression.
A player shouldn’t start as a 110+ OVR superstar. Starting around 65–70 OVR and developing through performances, training and experience would make the career feel much more rewarding.
Players could have different development paths depending on their position and playing style.
🌍 Make every career feel different
It would be amazing if players could create their own stories.
For example:
Young winger → breakthrough season → bigger club → Champions League → national team → world-class superstar.
Every player could have a different journey depending on their performances and decisions.
📱 Designed specifically for mobile
I understand that FC Mobile has different limitations from the console/PC versions. The mode doesn’t need to be exactly the same as console Career Mode.
Even a simplified version designed specifically for mobile would be incredible.
It could be a separate mode from Ultimate Team so that players who enjoy building squads can continue playing normally while players who want a personal football journey have another option.
❤️ Why I think it would be valuable
FC Mobile is already a great game for building teams and competing online. A Player Career Mode would give players another reason to keep playing because they would become attached to their own player and their own story.
I would personally love to create my own player, start as an unknown youngster, work my way into the first team, earn a national-team call-up and eventually become one of the best players in the world.
Please consider adding Player Career Mode in a future FC Mobile update.
