Additional Gameplay Feedback – Movement, Dribbling and Responsiveness

I have already submitted separate feedback regarding shooting, because in my opinion shooting is one of the most important aspects of the game and it has become significantly worse after the update. However, this post is not mainly about shooting. This time I want to focus on the overall gameplay experience, especially player movement, dribbling, responsiveness, and reactions.

To be completely honest, I feel like this update has made the gameplay substantially worse than it was before.

Before the update, the game felt smooth, responsive, enjoyable, and rewarding. Players reacted quickly to inputs, dribbling felt natural, movement felt fluid, and there was a good flow to matches. Even when losing, it felt like I had control over my players and that my decisions mattered.

After the update, that feeling is largely gone.

The biggest issue is player responsiveness. There is a noticeable delay between what I want my players to do and what they actually do on the pitch. Players feel heavier, slower, and less reactive. Quick turns do not feel as sharp as before. Changing direction feels sluggish. Dribbling feels less precise and less satisfying. It often feels like there is an extra layer between my inputs and the actions happening on the screen.

The dribbling in particular has taken a huge step backwards. Before the update, skilled dribbling felt rewarding because players responded quickly and accurately. Now many dribbling situations feel clunky and inconsistent. Players do not seem to accelerate, turn, or react with the same level of responsiveness they had previously. This removes a lot of creativity from attacking play and makes the game feel less fun overall.

Movement is another major problem. Players often feel slow to react when changing direction, tracking runs, or positioning themselves. The overall flow of the game feels heavier and more restricted. Instead of smooth football, matches often feel stiff and frustrating.

What makes this especially disappointing is that the game genuinely felt better before. This is not a request for some completely new gameplay system. The game already had a better foundation before the update. The previous gameplay was more enjoyable, more responsive, more skill-based, and simply more fun to play.

Right now, many actions feel delayed or unresponsive. It becomes harder to express skill because players do not react as expected. The game feels less fluid, less dynamic, and less satisfying. Winning does not feel as rewarding, and losing often feels frustrating because the gameplay itself no longer feels reliable.

I understand that updates are meant to improve the experience, but from my perspective this update has had the opposite effect. Combined with the shooting issues I already reported separately, the changes to movement, dribbling, and responsiveness have significantly reduced my enjoyment of the game.

I strongly believe the development team should revisit these gameplay changes and seriously consider bringing the movement, dribbling, responsiveness, and overall feel of the game closer to how they were before the update.

The previous version felt faster, smoother, more enjoyable, and more rewarding. The current version feels heavier, less responsive, and far less fun.

Please reconsider these changes. Many players care deeply about how the game feels to play, and right now the gameplay experience has taken a noticeable step backwards.

Thank you for taking the time to read this feedback.

  • I feel the same way, but it's more so when I play against weaker teams, it's like nightmare mode is immediately turned on, the artificial intelligence increases the reaction time, passes are delayed, the game becomes sluggish and many mistakes occur, I don't have a responsive start, my players don't start to attack and it's as if something is holding them back....
