Not a bad idea. Two more things need to be added while at it:
- Subs increase to match IFAB rules
- Alternate positions to be recognised (you kinda touched on it)

    I agree about increasing the number of substitutions to match the current rules.

    However, I don't agree with automatic recognition of secondary positions. I'd rather configure that in advance, as I mentioned in my suggestion.

    For example, I have Bale and Yamal on the bench, both listed as RW. However, I often use Bale as a striker, so I wouldn't want the game to automatically bring him on for my starting RW instead of Yamal. That's exactly why I think giving players the option to pre-configure automatic substitutions would be a better solution.
