Aspect ratio on phone v ipad

I play on my ipad, which has an aspect ratio of 4:3. On a phone with aspect ratio 19:9 I can see so much more of the pitch. Its been asked before... why are you unable to provide an aspect ratio override in the settings? I'd happily accept a blank area at the top and bottom of the screen to be able to see more of the pitch, more of my players positions. Without it those of us who can't use the phone for whatever reason are hugely disadvantaged. 2 photos attached just show how much of a difference it makes.
