DR depends on fans/cups. You are matched with teams with similar numbers

Fannste94You also need to consider that many players have high OVRs but rarely play DR modes—they mostly focus on events (myself included, sitting at 110 OVR but with zero interest in grinding to the DR Championship). So, if you have the same number of fans/cups as Sanyo mentioned, you'll end up facing players like us. Matchmaking also depends on who’s online and looking for a DR match at the time. When I do need to play VSA for an objective (like winning three DR games), I usually face opponents with a similar OVR, though occasionally, I’ll get someone with an OVR three or more points lower. Another key factor to keep in mind is that if you don’t reach a certain level before the reset, players get demoted accordingly when the monthly DR reset takes place.

It's dumb, you don't play against fans you play against the team with a higher rating

As I said It's dumb, you don't play against fans you play against the team with a higher rating

No. You play agsinst a team from your division with similar fans/cups number.

Heh, you're matched against opponents in your division based on cup/fan count, not OVR. While OVR might give a rough idea of where players should be on the ladder, it’s just that—an indication. Your bad luck comes from facing high-OVR players who either don’t care about Division Rivals or have lineups that don’t match their actual skill, especially in H2H. Like it or not, this matchmaking model has been around since the start of DR. You can hate it, or you can work on getting higher OVR or just ignoring the DR.

Don't troll please

Or send feedback to devs to fix the game, I'm not a coward

You ok? Matchmaking in DR works the same for years. The problem is most of the players have no incentive in playing it brcause higher you go the more cheaters you encounter. New league mode has created some motivation so players that haven't played in a while are now playing a few DR matches for league activity points. So still no problem with matchmaking but only motivation for you to upgrade your team or wait until those players progress to next division

Fannste94 Take a step back—no one called you names or trolled you. Both Sanyosa and I are experienced players who have been playing this game for many years. We also do not work for EA so we cannot pass the feedback on, but we are here to advise less experienced players when they have issues.
What we did was explain how the DR logic has worked since the game’s inception, and honestly, I believe it’s a fair system if people play the game properly. As we both mentioned, the rewards don’t justify the effort it takes to reach the top, especially compared to when the game was still called FifaMobile.
I often get matched with teams that have much lower OVR in VSA because the resets push me all the way back to Pro1. I don’t see why I should grind through hundreds of games just to reach Championship again.
It’s unfortunate for you that it seems you face players like me, who have high OVR teams but can’t be bothered with DR anymore. You’ll notice we barely play the mode, based on visible history and fan/cup count being low.
How matchmaking works is one thing, but if you don’t like the matchmaking logic, that’s a separate issue.
For context, I’ve been in the top 250 ladder before and earned the icons for reaching that level, so I’m more than familiar with DR logic and what’s required to get to the top. The main reason I don’t bother with DR anymore is because as mentioned before, the rewards are insufficient for the effort required, and the higher you go, the more cheaters and exploiters you face.
To reach the top in VSA, you need a max OVR lineup, fully ranked and trained, a lot of grinding, and some luck. In H2H, you need skill, anticipation of your opponent, and fully ranked/trained meta cards. If you’re not willing to put in that effort, you won’t make it to the top tiers, period.
Again, how matchmaking works is one thing, but you not liking the matchmaking logic is a separate matter.
