The issue with today's internet that the providers think that more download speed and not much of upload speed. Even my internet is same as you. When you can get information fast you also have to send information fast. Especially in games like fc. This isn't a game issue but the network provider's greed.
In speed tests it pick the sever closest to you for pinging. But ea's servers might be elsewhere causing a big delay in the info. Try contacting your isp for ways to improve upload speed
