Casino game is back

Just got done losing three straight Ultimate Challenge finals with a OVR 116 team (and, yes, I hate myself for wasting 500 gems to give it a third try). It’s 100% rigged and I’ve absolutely had it with EA at this point.

I’m glad you used the word “casino” because that’s exactly the strategy they’re employing. This isn’t about playing football and it certainly isn’t the old “if it’s in the game, it’s in the game” ethos. This is a football-themed slot machine (for winning player cards) and nothing more.

The community comes in here and earnestly delivers feedback day after day and we get zero reply. For example, it’s been more than two weeks now that folks have complained about how rigged the Ultimate Challenge final is (and how poor the pay out is) and EA says nothing. And that’s small potatoes compared to the myriad problems with the update they’ve yet to acknowledge (let alone fix).

If someone has the wherewithal to organize a legit boycott I’d be all in. Until then, I simply refuse to spend any money and I’ll continue to call out EA’s nonsense,

Just close the game before that rigged third UC match ends and try again. Do not waste gems on something that is clearly broken and deliberately overtuned.

It will be interesting to see if the new ownership actually gets the game back on track or just keeps squeezing what's left. Last time things got this bad, NO$4BUGS started gaining traction, and honestly, it would not be a surprise if it happens again as there is no acknowledgement of the issues in any way, shape or form and/or shown path forward.

The game will stay legal no matter how far they push the casino-style model. They will just keep rewriting the terms and conditions to cover themselves, like any corporation with an army of lawyers.

Meanwhile, provide accurate feedback that has popped up the other day in the game.
