Different ovr in grades and in match
In the teams preview before the match in rivals the opponent's team was shown with some players with ovr 90, some with little more, also there was some with 95 and more. During the match something changed after first half when I was winning and I started to be hopeless in the second one, so I have checked the ovr in the grades menu in the match pause. There were grades between 76-90. How? Why? Also after that check, Foden who had 90 in grades menu, shoot the goal and he was shown with 95ovr on the field. How and why again. Was the opponent cheating or the overrides in the grades menu are buggy and show standard card's ovr?
- @2288f4f11abfa06a If you were playing h2h in challenge mode then players will put cards out of position to bring down OVR in the belief that having a lower OVR will match you with a lower OVR opponent … it won’t, as matchmaking appears to be based on cups, but people do love to have theories about matchmaking.
It is also the case that in challenge mode teams have to have three of the event players in their side, which will generally be lower OVR than their usual players, so after they finish the match and switch back to their normal team, when you check them on your history it will show their selected team if they have already switched back.
Not sure what you mean by pause grades menu though … do you have a screen shot of that?
