Yeah, all EA does is pay lip service to listening to the community. Just look at this thread. They asked for feedback. Loads of us have provided it and all we’ve received is a deafening silence. It’s a total microcosm of what’s wrong with this game — a company that’s lost its way and thinks performative customer service (with no actual follow through) will distract from the glaring problems with gameplay. Why can’t they take a few minutes to put out a reply summarizing the feedback we’ve given and indicating what they intend to do? Is it that hard to maintain a two-way conversation with your user community?
Too hard basket 🤣 so my expectations are around south east of zero improvements in the foreseeable future.
On a serious note, they likely cannot rollback (otherwise they would do so by now). So they have to figure out the way how to bring it back without killing the gameplay and netcode even further. It does come down to testing and accuracy of it (or whether they test for right things).
The point remains, if one wants to treated seriously and asking for feedback, one should respect the player base and respond to the plentiful feedback given, especially that more or less you can summarise it in 3 key points.
Broken gameplay (passing/gk/controls), problematic servers/latency and overall regression of the game (as opposed to their beliefs that the game was enchanced, because it was not improved in any way, shape or form).
