The worst TOTY ever! 
The shard system was working fine and when nothing broke, you introduced the draft tickets. 

The game also turned into a P2P because F2P players couldnt get their OVR to a decent 123 or -2 OVRs from top ranked OVRs

The transfer market is dead. All UNTRADEABLES. 
To get more draft tickets and get good pulls, we need to purchase FP and get the tickets. There are other players whom had given up due to this.

Nowadays, it is all about spending. 
Do balance this out before everybody realize that you are just milking us of our money.

That's great, seeking feedback makes you look like you are interested. Unfortunately, you have done this so many times before and completely ignored the players concerns. If you want to keep players happy you need to come up with solutions to the problems they raise, not just completely ignore them!!!

i think as players we have to understand EA is a commercial entity, it has to make money or it (and the game) would not exist. I don’t really understand the f2p point of view too much. If you don’t pay for the game then it has to be funded by ads. If it’s funded by ads then quite how good is it going to be? I think if you are playing the game f2p then you have to accept some premium content is always going to be out of your reach. 

I am pretty sure most f2p understand and accept that. 

in the past that might be based on f2p getting 2-3 top rated players per event and p2w getting as many as they wanted to pay for. 

I think the problem with the present settings of the draft system and phase 2 exchanges is modest p2w’s and f2p’s have been left with only a pack luck chance of getting any card higher than 115. If most top teams had mostly 115’s at the start then the whole set of events since the start of the draft system have been a bar to progression, to get certainty of a 117 you have to spend £100/$100, so to get a whole team is a grand….think about it. A grand, to get top resource in a game!! 

I think, one unintended consequence of the way the TOTY was set up is that you can progress (in theory) by getting a 116, but if you have an icon 115 then you aren’t going to swap those players out for a weaker 116 card. So the ‘upgrade’ becomes another source of massive annoyance. 

This Draft System is the worst!! Had to exchange my 116 ovr Kane for just 50 phase 2 tokens as he was of no use for me 😔 

I had gotten quite some drafts and opened a 10 draft one in toty attacker in week 6 I got 2 stoichkov which I already had.  Not a single 117 I want mbappe. He's the only player in intested. I would have excepted dembele but now you had to give me the 2 players I had. Congrats,  you made a p2w game. Worst thing I've even seen ea. Ea, it would be appreciated if u give all f2p people some gifts,  no kits or 115 player I'd say give everyone an toty player (for utoty) of their choice, means any of the 12. Don't give it to the⁹ p2p people. 

Don't get me started on the phase 2 tokens, what is that rate, unacceptable. It's impossible to get 900, it Sodbury be more than 500. And the 117 cost, what is that supposed to mean. Why is raphinia so expensive. Ea this wasn't expected from you. 

Well… you’ve finally done it. You’ve finally completely and utterly destroyed the game.

There is zero enjoyment in the draft system where by you’re given a random untradeable that doesn’t fit your team at all.

The market is completely dead therefore I can no longer upgrade and improve my team.

We do know what you’ll do with the feedback. Somehow…. You’ll take it away and make the game worse.

EA_Pulsar​ you guys should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. Only game I know that year on year kills off the enjoyment of the game little by little until the stage we’re at now where the game is completely dead.

This event is the biggest piece absolute garbage in my 2 years of playing this game. Packs are bad ( system is p2w most of the players i get are the minimum ovr or 108 and a guaranteed good pack is 1 per 100), the event is time wasting (barely ever played actually). The biggest event of 2026 will be a joke to ea throughout it's existence. Your developers only focus on money or how big your mansions are. Remember your money depends on us players.

What do you think of TOTY so far?

The event is quite boring. It's far too easy to complete everything. I cannot grind and then get some reward that feels really worth it. It shouldn't be that someone that cannot play every single day is deprived from the opportunity to get some great rewards, but I now have about 9,000 tokens sitting there which I can only use in a coin exchange or on that incredibly stupid midfielder chapter where you have to gamble away tokens using far too many clicks (taps, if you prefer) to have luck determine whether I could get some more rank up points or not (I used the 300 token dices on getting draft vouchers and the 113 player). And the defender chapter, I could get all rewards on day 1. So, as said, it feels pretty boring.

And then the draft system... I've posted about it, but nobody from EA bothers to reply (and then I hear Tak and Antwan claim "we listen!" - no, you don't). The draft system is killing the game. There are a lot of players that are considering to stop as they are deprived from the ability of picking the player they want - which was the great feat of the shard system. You depend on luck for getting pack A and then again on luck for getting a 117 or otherwise at least a player you're interested in. The 26 Phase 2 tokens are a farce, because then when you get Pack A and you get a useless 116, you need 18 of these before you can pick a 117. It's just ridiculous, I have no other word for it. Oh yes, I do: it's pure greed from EA as they wish for players to spend more and more real money to get virtual players. Well, I have news for you: then one spends real money and they get a virtual player they do not like. So now where is the value for money? Completely down the drain!

Are there any event items you’re excited about?

NO! There are players I would have liked, but I cannot obtain them. Instead, I get rubbish players that do not fit my line-up or I do not find interesting, after wasting hundreds of draft vouchers. ENOUGH OF THAT - bring back the shard system!

What are you planning to focus on or work towards?

I am planning to stop playing if the draft system stays in place. It is horrible! It destroyed all the fun of the team building aspect of the game. The playing is not as fun anymore since a longer time already, for example as passes just go into random directions since the latest "upgrades" on passing.

The game used to be soooo much better... Now it is just one big lump of frustration.

OK, so I’m sharing this as a window into the head of an F2Per who has logged in everyday for over a year and has built a respectable squad that’s reached FC Champions (+10 VSA; +30 H2H; +5 MM). I manage a league that’s 100 strong. I occasionally spend the odd $0.39 or $0.99 and would spend more if only EA would invest in improving the game mechanics. But I currently don’t spend “real” money on FCM because it feels like a “casino” where the odds are long and payouts aren’t high enough quality to be enticing (i.e., the gameplay quality is too inconsistent and the rate of card replacements is too high and both of these factors undermines the value of cards). So, with that as preface…

I’ve been through the TOTY draft twice now (i.e., I’ve spent 200 vouchers) and BOTH times it took until my 100th draw to get a Pool A player and BOTH times that player was a 116 OVR CM (instead of the attacker I needed!). I now have a Pedri and a Pirlo, neither of whom is a substantial improvement over my current CMs (who are slightly lower OVR but more physically dominating — Toure and Gullit). And, herein lies the problem with TOTY (meaning the draft system and all the attendant exchanges) for me and many others — you can grind your tail off for over a month and STILL have no certainty of improving your team.

After 200 drafts I still don’t have enough 113-116 players to exchange for even HALF of the 900 Phase 2 tokens required to buy a 117. I’ve used every available player trade-in for Daily Pick tokens to maximize my 113-115s and I’m still nowhere close. Similarly, I’m still well shy of the 20(!) 115s required to convert my 115 Raphinha into a UTOTY. Based on my experience of only winning a Pool A player on my 100th draw, it makes ZERO sense for me to cash in gems for vouchers unless I have the minimum 300k required to buy a full 100 (thus, securing the Pool A player). I don’t have that many gems, and even if I did I would be reluctant to spend them on a “pig in a poke” (i.e., another Pool A player that doesn’t meet my needs).  And so it appears I’m now stuck (after more than a month of grinding) with a pile of mediocre spare parts that I can’t really use and with little hope of improving my situation before the end of the event.

All of this has me (and many others) asking: So, what’s the point anymore? Why did I waste my time on this event? And why on earth would I go on wasting my time on future events if they are designed in the same way (with no certainty of winning even one top player that fits my squad)? That’s the question many of us are asking ourselves. We want to have fun playing football with a team we curated. But it’s no fun when you can’t be competitive (i.e., when you have NO real chance of winning meta cards), and you can’t “curate” your team when you have no control/certainty over the players you win (and when all of the exchanges are so poor as to be virtually useless).

I really would like to know the dev team’s thoughts on this because the TOTY event feels to this dedicated player like an effort by EA to claw back a ton of user value and place it behind a dauntingly high pay wall. If that was not the intention, then it would be really helpful to hear EA say something before loads of us pack our bags and leave. I’m not saying this rhetorically or as a provocation. I mean it quite earnestly: Give us a reason to stay! We love football, and many of us enjoy the community (even if not always the game), but we’re deeply frustrated with recent changes. We’ve given them a chance for over a month now, find them miserable to the point of being intolerable, and just want to know whether you intend to make changes before we walk away.

With the Draft system, FC Mobile is gonna become a thing of the past. Since the Draft came, I've been opening it with both FC Points and Gems (over 600,000), it took me all the way to the end twice and gave me 116 (Pirlo, Stochickov), but not a single (1) 117 came from pool A. My priority is to stop spending money. If no players are going to come, let's not spend money unnecessarily. I hope I get bored and quit in the end. Moreover, even I do not mention about f2p users, probably they will quit soon as well. If anyone is in the same situation as me, my advice is to stop spending money(if they earn so much money from this system, most probably they will not end this system), eat a kebab instead, at least you'll fill your stomach.
