Fix long shots

I wish they would fix this. I've scored this way and have been scored on this way. The thing that amazes me, is when the keeper has an unobstructed view of the player taking the shot snd it still goes in.

Imagine how it would be to play a football gane with such realism that any more than a goal or two a game is a statistical anomaly and you have to struggle like anything to just get through daily tasks because scoring is so difficult … 

No one is arguing that goals should be a “struggle” to score. Just don’t make them ludicrously easy to score from such long range. It’s similar to direct free kicks—they shouldn’t fly in the net virtually every time! 

THIS (see below) is still happening with way too much frequency. The shot was launched from just the other side of the center circle (+40 yds from goal) and traveled like a laser past my 116 keeper. Absolutely absurd! You see a shot from this distance scored about once a season in real life, but only when the keeper is way off his line. That’s obviously not what is happening here.

EA just can’t stop making a mockery of the sport we love. 😒

You need a better midfield that doesn't let the attackers do that  :D

Manager mode?

Sorry, but no midfielder in the world worries about closing down a shot from +40 yds (because any keeper who’s not off his line can easily protect his goal against a shot from that distance, lol!). Midfielders look to pressure the passer in the middle third, but they’re mainly trying to clog passing lanes and deny balls that break the lines. Not about to blame this one on Bellingham and Valverde.

If you had Gullit and Zidane, that would not happen, just saying, hahahah
