H2H Gameplay consistency

H2H gameplay needs more consistency. Right now, matches are heavily influenced by gameplay assistance. One game, every pass connects, teammates are always open, defenders make automatic interceptions, and the game corrects your mistakes, leading to an easy 3–0 win. The next game, players stop marking, first touches fail, shots repeatedly hit the post, passes go astray, and you lose 3–0. The game would be much more enjoyable and competitive if gameplay was consistent from match to match and the handicap was significantly reduced so player skill has a greater impact on the result.

    Yup, wildly inconsistent. You almost feel sorry for your opponent when the assistance is all in your favor (like the 5-0 win I just posted), but when it runs against you it makes you want to throw your device across the room. We’ve definitely reached a point where the extremes are frequent and very noticeable and it really undermines the fun. It’s gotten to where I’m just not even bothering to play 5 H2H matches every day anymore. The grind doesn’t pay any longer annyway and what’s the point of wasting your time if half the matches are infuriating trainwrecks where skill has nothing to do with the outcome?
