H2H Garbage

Yup, agree 110%. Gameplay is a joke. The mechanics are broken and have been for quite a while now and EA just keeps rolling out gimmicky event after gimmicky event instead of committing its resources to what matters—making matches (especially H2H!) fun. It’s not, currently — it’s a frequently infuriating mess.

And, yes, EA’s total silence in the face of dozens and dozens of comments like these says all you need to know about the situation. Their Forum staff spend all their time policing us and posting promos for lame events and we’re left feeling like we’re shouting into a void. Take, for example, the scores of comments we posted on the new season update, and we got ZERO acknowledgement to indicate we were being listened to (and we’ve certainly seen no improvements to gameplay).  I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever felt held in greater contempt as a customer than by EA (and that’s saying something considering I’ve been a Comcast customer!).

In the end I think it boils down to this:  FC Mobile has become little more than a football-themed casino where we, the users, are merely “marks.” EA aims to fleece us of our money (and time) and offers us nothing but a lame slot machine in return. “If it’s in the game, it’s in the game” is dead. It’s now “viva Las Vegas” and go pound sand if you actually want to play football. As always, I eagerly welcome EA to prove me wrong, but I’m past the point of holding my breath that they will.
