Certain player stats in the Hall of Legend are really without logic!
What good is a 101 OVR Cannavaro if he gets worse stats than even 97 OVR players?
This is pure money-making and misleading for inexperienced players who only look at OVR. I'm not saying that Cannavaro has to have the best stats with 101 OVR, but at least as good as Blanc or Van Dijk.

This is not primarily about me (as I own all 4 players)😉
It's also not about tradable or untradable players, as the stats of tradable and untradable players are identical.
The reason that certain players should be better for VSA or H2H is not logical.
Also choosing Mascherano, as you explained @mendozzamagic, has nothing to do with.
Since a maximum of 98 OVR players can be selected in the Icon collection and 99% of them all choose Mascherano😅
I can partly understand the comparison of you @Sanyosa with the Euro 2024 event and the 100+ OVR players, even if it doesn't apply to all players (see example below)
The event was titled Hall of Legends by EA.
So a player assumes that you can get legendary strong players in their position in this event.
This should apply all the more to the 100+OVR players, as they are exclusively legendary Icons players!
The example above shows this clearly.
What is the logic that a 98OVR player like Frimpong has better stats than a legendary icon 101OVR player like Carlos Alberto?🤷🏻♂️

In my opinion, this event regarding the players and their stats is completely illogical and very misleading on EA's part🤑

In terms of marketing, the name "Hall of legends" suggests to all users that the highly praised 100+ OVR Icons legends are the best players.
That's why they can only be found in the packs. Which, as far as I'm concerned, makes EA right to shovel money🤑
But what's misleading is that it's only when you take a closer look at the stats that you realise it's a marketing trick.😔
And I find this type of marketing technique unfriendly and harmful to customers. Especially for younger or inexperienced players who fall for such tricks again and again🥺
@yinxie1963 if you went on that basis then every card where a run of the mill player from a lower league who gets a high OVR card would be an insult to every other player who is actually better than them.
@konterman - it’s a game - they have higher OVR than their previous cards, which is what most of the casual players out there care about.
They will just be superseded by the next set of event cards where you will again have some random from the A-League like Craig Goodwin or Matthew Leckie with higher OVR and stats than some of the top European players … its just a game, relax and enjoy the bits you enjoy 😎
