Hero event, fail to beat the first creature

I haven't gotten around to it yet since I'm still finishing up the 6 Heroes claim. I'd recommend just revealing the icon and grabbing the daily training first. After that, check how many tokens you have—if you get single-digit power/energy tokens, it’s probably worth pursuing (that means you don't do the skills/matches after opening up the pack). Follow the path that gives back the fewest tokens while spending the most before reaching the creature. There won’t be a single optimal solution since it depends on the daily training heroes pack and what you get back as you progress and choose different paths.

You need to have less tokens than expected at one of the Creatures demanding Power tokens.  So basically you fail to progress further on that day and the quest will be completed.
