Our support team can help with Date of Birth (DOB) changes. There are a few things to know about this before connecting with them:
Unfortunately, the option to link accounts does not appear in the game settings due to the child account restrictions.
If the DOB is registered as under 18 for your FC Mobile and EA accounts, then you'll need the support team's help to 'Age-up' both accounts. They'll need to verify your age (read more on that). Once they can confirm you're not a minor/underage, they'll update the DOB for both accounts, and you should be able to use the 'EA Connect' option from there.
However, in order for the connect option in-game to work, the Date of Birth for both your FC Mobile and EA accounts needs to be above the age of 18. You mentioned you are turning 16 this year, so the most the support team could do is update the Date of Birth so it correctly lists you as 16 years of age. This won't help the 'EA Connect' option appear today, but it will mean you'll correctly age up so that when you do turn 18, the 'EA Connect' option will be available on your birthday.
If you'd like to do that, please get in touch with them using these steps, and share your User ID with them.
I would like to link my account to an EA Account in order to save my progress and avoid losing it.
While you can't back up the account by linking it until you turn 18, you can save your User ID. The support team will use this to locate the guest account, and they will do their best to get you back in the game if you ever experience issues logging in. This is important, as without the User ID, they might not be able to find your account to help. So it’s important to always keep a copy of your User ID jotted down somewhere safe, just in case.
