Icon database feedback: Peter Schmeichel OVR flaws & missing legends

Dear EA SPORTS FC Database Team, I am writing to provide concrete, analytical feedback regarding the player attribute scaling, Trait distribution, and overall selection of European Icons in FC Mobile, specifically focusing on the recent OVR progression tiers. Through detailed analysis of the database scaling, there are clear, non-proportional discrepancies that negatively impact gameplay realism and systematically undervalue Danish football history. Regarding the Peter Schmeichel GK Attribute Inflation: When upgrading from his natural 117 base to the 119 base card, his core Goalkeeper attributes (Handling and Reflexes) are heavily throttled (receiving only a +3 and +4 increase respectively). Instead, to artificially inflate his overall OVR to 119, his physical stats have been unrealistically boosted—specifically his Pace/Pace Dominance, which jumps by a massive +64 points. A 193 cm, 92 kg goalkeeper effectively scales like a winger, while his actual goalkeeper handling remains stagnant. This scaling model compromises tactical realism. Regarding the Edwin van der Sar vs. Schmeichel Discrepancy: While Van der Sar correctly receives a natural +12 in Handling and Positionering during his OVR scaling, Schmeichel is "robbed" with a +3. This indicates an uneven and biased application of the upgrade formula among high-tier Icon Goalkeepers, seemingly favoring nations where EA has regional offices, such as the Netherlands. Regarding the Michael Laudrup Trait and Skill Omissions: Michael Laudrup is historically recognized as one of the most elegant, agile, and technically gifted playmakers in football history. Locking his card at 4-star Skill Moves without the "Speed Dribbler" trait severely misrepresents his real-world capabilities. While he utilized "La Croqueta" (Lane Change) effectively, his speed and control with the ball at his feet warrants the Speed Dribbler trait to accurately reflect his profile in the meta. Furthermore, his work rates feel generic and do not match his high offensive peak at FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. Regarding the Systematic Neglect of Historic Danish Legends: Finally, it is highly disappointing to see the systematic exclusion of some of football's greatest historic figures from the Icon/Hero roster simply due to regional marketing bias. Excluding Allan Simonsen—the 1977 Ballon d'Or winner—and Preben Elkjær—a Serie A champion and global World Cup icon—is a massive oversight. Furthermore, the game completely ignores legendary defensive pioneers like Morten Olsen, one of the most intelligent and elegant sweepers in European football history, and Ivan Nielsen, a dominant, hard-tackling center-back who won the European Cup in 1988. If EA SPORTS FC aims to be "The World's Game," the library of Icons should reflect true historical football achievements across all positions, rather than purely favoring legends from larger modern consumer markets. As a dedicated football analyst and player, I urge the live-ops and database collective team to review the scaling formulas for Icon cards, ensuring that OVR upgrades genuinely enhance a player's primary position attributes rather than padding secondary physical stats, and to re-evaluate the inclusion of missing football legends. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to seeing these database balance issues addressed in upcoming updates. Best regards.
