Improve the game!

I just finished 5 straight H2H matches that were complete rubbish. I have a strong internet connection, yet for 5 consecutive matches my players were sluggish, passes were consistently errant, inputs were slow to register. In short, the game felt like it was working against me and I was sorely tempted to throw my device across the room. It wasn’t fair and it wasn’t fun.

EA seems to spend all of its time these days on window dressing — new card designs, event aesthetics, etc. — and virtually no time making the gameplay better. They raised a new “Berlin paywall” with the draft system, yet provide us with the same old crappy game mechanics and lousy lag as before. I, for one, have had enough.

Come the summer, I’ll have the World Cup to keep me busy and if the gameplay hasn’t improved — if the fundamental value proposition of FCM hasn’t changed — then I’m out.
