I raised this exact issue back in Aug/Sept when the new season started (because that’s when the store exchange disappeared) and no one from EA acknowledged it. Just another glaring oversight on their part and they appear too thinly staffed and/or too disinterested to deal with it. Honestly, there’s a new bug with this game every week, so it’s clear they don’t implement basic quality control measures before launching new events. And those events (like TOTY and Ginga) are actual revenue drivers! Thus, it’s no wonder they haven’t bothered to fix an issue with one of the legacy modes (like Club Challenge) that doesn’t drive revenue. Some companies would fix it just as a matter of pride (if not policy), but I’m afraid that ship has sailed at EA. Would love to see them prove me wrong, but not about to start holding my breath. Needless, to say EA’s lack of responsiveness on basic quality control issues like this are a big reason why I’ll never spend money on this game again. The value proposition on this game has steadily declined over time and they seem intent on clawing back even more with the new draft system. All I can say is it’s a shame what they’ve done to this game.
