Manager mode is straight up terrible.

I've played 94 games since reaching 10 stars and currently I'm sitting at 17 stars with 33 wins 26 losses and 35 draws. Was at 24 stars and lost 7 in a row and ever since then it's been a win-loss cycle. Only EA can come up with something outright terrible like this. Who even designs these? One match my team is winning 3-0 and the next match a 5-1 or 4-0 defeat. No matter what tactics you use, they just play however they want. Can you believe playing 94 games for friggin 7 stars. Dunno when that DDA is gonna hit me and put me back to where I started. Ridiculous game. If I ever find anyone from EA, I'm gonna lock them up in a room and make them play this piece of garbage 24*7 for atleast a month time. I'm seriously glad the company is sold. And I really hope this trash comes to an end atleast this year. Goddamn

    Yup. I do the same exact thing. No point in wasting time and energy actually thinking you can “manage” the outcome (because you can’t).

    The one thing MM is good for is helping to explain why H2H mode can be so infuriating because it (MM) plainly demonstrates how totally flawed the AI/logic is for all the players you are not controlling (i.e., the ten players running around like so many chickens with their heads cut off).

    That's the most sensible way to look at it. It ends up being a pain only when we are chasing those rewards. EA are notorious in making you work 3x hard for the said reward. The infamous DDA kicks in whenever you need a win or two and take away all the progress you made in the last one hour or so

    I hate playing h2h cuz of the toxicity there. At some point it's gonna get on your nerves. I always try to be polite to whoever my opponent is. I've even muted the emotes but some dudes with their gameplay itself can just **bleep** you off. The game is just nonsense. Idk how thuram with a high defending wr is higher up the pitch than bale 🤣 this game would never make sense and for EA it's the perfect mix to frustrate people out so one would just end up buying more packs for the "better pull".

    I thought ll try getting to 40 stars for those 10k gems mate. When I was at 24 I thought alright 16 more stars so if I leave it for a while I can atleast reach to 30 and grind the rest later. Boom when I checked after a while I was at 17 stars. **bleep** 😂. Never fails to amaze me how terrible this crap can make you feel. So now I've played 56 more games and I'm at 16 stars. I've stopped trying at this point. I give up.

    You should leave it overnight, mate. I was on 16 stars, so I thought, let’s see what happens over a few hours, maybe I'll get some extra rankups. When I woke up, it was back at 0, hahaha.

    Having said that, I never bothered with setting it up properly according to any “guides.” I just let it play 5 games collect the tokens, a few minimalistic shard tradeables, and some gems, and it gets to the championship sooner or later.

    Manager mode was essentially a test run for their tactical football release, but they seem to have left it in the game because some of the plater base seems to love it ... it is far from perfect though, and i only engage in it to set it on auto for five a day and come back in an hour to collect my tokens. ;)
