Improvement? Ok if you compare the gameplay we have today with the one before the update, yes. The ball doesn't hit the players in the back. But that's not a good gameplay. 90% of the time we only pass the ball around without any outcome, we do dozens of turns and try to lob the ball over the defenders. And all this while we have an option in the settings named advanced passing. Does any of you know what that does? 🤔🤪 How many of you are using the different types of passes? How many of you can replicate a goal? I play against teams that won't even let me touch the ball in the final third while when I am defending with 4 against 1 somehow my players are always in the wrong place. It's starting season 10 now and except the graphics level not much changed. The same corners and free kicks, same tactics, same side defenders running without reason forward. At least in the past you could pass and the game play was close to what you will have in real life. I do miss the times when you could pass to the second player by holding the button longer. Whe the power of the shot would determine the hight of the ball, when you could actually pass in the box, when a well timed dribbling was making the difference, when you could select where to pass by pressing the screen. Turning around over and over and lobing the defence while everything is on auto doesn't make you skilled. But most of people play just to brag with the cards or with the ranks and don't actually try to enjoy the game.
